On 20 July 2017 our lecturers and 17 students of Tourism Management Program had a trip to visit Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company (BEM) to study about the management and operation of the Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) of Bangkok. The visit was part of the course Logistics for Tourism Management the students enrolled in this semester. The students had the opportunity to see how the headquarter operates and control the train networks at stations in distance, maintenance works, and its vision and missions as the main infrastructure in urban areas those including for residents, businesses and tourists, to support all commuters.
